Great beginner's set
These clubs are not only very forgiving with large face and a cavity back. There perfect for the beginner or even a scratch golfer who wants a great affordable set of clubs.
A Must Buy for Starter or High Handicapper
I have built clubs for several years, won 7 of 14 Senior match-play tournamnets at our club and finished 2nd 3 times so when I say that I was amazed at the standard of manufacture and the excellent looks of this set, I do so with some authority. The progressive offset and the shape of the clubs remind me of the Lynx brand, though they are heavier than what I had been using. The added weight at the base of the cavity should give the beginning golfer, as well as the high-handicapper, a feeling of confidence and power. Getting the ball 'up' should prove much easier for the beginner. Standard grips and regular flex metal shafts will serve a large group of golfers. This is an excellent buy for golfers of all ages. For an old retiree at 71, I should be able to give my grandson some competition. Victor G.
Good set of irons
I've been playing for a number of years but still consider myself a hacker... these are good irons for the price. GREAT bargin at $30. My brother got them for $35 and I've used them on 18 holes and so has he. The irons are better than any starter set (brand new) for the price!
