Good for shooting sports but not golfers
Good solid value for the money. This is perfect for archery, hunting, or targets which is what I use it for. It measures distances out to 2 to 3 hundred yards with no problem. However, the size of a golf flag is really not large enough at that distance for this unit. At 1/2 the cost of the other more expensive units, this works for me and my needs.
Great rangefinder
I bought this for shooting and this is the first rangefinder I have ever had any experience with and I have been very happy. It is a very simple setup. The button turns on the reticle and you just point it and push the button again and it displays the yards. After a short time it shuts back off. Doesn't get much simpler than that. I have read reviews where some people are unhappy because thiers only reads in meter instead of yards. There is a micro switch under the cover (kinda hidden) that switches between yards and meters. Overall, a great purchase.
Good Little Rangefinder
This is an excellent rangefinder for the money...out to 200 yards it locks on and give you the distance fairly fast....have used it to find the distance out over 900 yards so far....the key to this is to hit on a "hard object" that is in the same area as what you are measuring for....all in all....a great rangefinder
range finder bushnell
great range finder easy to use an is very fast giving u the yardage that u laser. can't beat this range finder for the price
Steady as you are Rangefinder
I bought the rangefinder to measure out driving range's flag distances. Some of the distance are questionable because when I shoot a flag, it gives out 20 yards more then what it posted at the driving range. When shooting at a yardage sign (which is a bigger target) the yardage is similar to the posted yardage (maybe 1-3 yards difference). Also at night, it's very hard or impossible to get a reading unless the object you're shooting is white. Con: Flimsy, almost toy type construction. Not so good in dim lighting. Need to have a big target and steady hands to operate it correctly. May need to measure different targets to ensure you're getting the correct distance. Pro: Light weight if you're carrying it on your waist belt and walking 18 holes. No annual membership to pay for. Great value for the price. Good tool for a beginner golfer to practice his yardage.
