Check Go Pro Sweet Spot Finder

If you have ever watched a well struck putt veer off line, you have stumbled on a little golf secret, the perfectly round golf ball has not yet been manufactured. Just like automobile tires that appear to be round but still need to be spin balanced to perform correctly, golf balls are not ready to go out of the box. The Check Go automatically realigns the balls heaviest areas along its equator, so the ball no longer has a tendency to wobble when struck. Place a new golf ball in Check Go and replace the safety cage. Press the button for several seconds while the Check Go's high speed gyroscope action realigns the ball's variance in mass along its most balanced area. Use the special pen to permanently mark the ball's unique equator. When teeing off or on the green, simply line up the ball's equator line with your target and swing as usual.

I've used this to mark all my golf balls and there is no doubt that my putts are rolling truer and my lines are better. I've definitely made more putts since starting to use this. Once I've lined up the ball with hole using the line all I have to worry about when I'm over the ball is getting the right speed. Also, if you watch golf on TV note how many players use a line on their ball to line up their putts. You'll be hard pressed to find any pros who don't use a tool like this. If you want to shave a few strokes off your round, this tool will help you do it.

I bought the Pro model to replace the original Check-Go. PROS: (1) The line around the equator now goes on perfectly straight. On the original unit I had to mark the line separately by hand because usually the line came out lopsided. This was very time consuming! (2) There is now a green dot which lights up once the ball is balanced, usually 10-15 seconds. Big help. On the original unit you kept spinning until you thought it was balanced. The instructions even said to let it spin for up to 2-minutes to balance the ball. The Pro is much faster to use and you know when the balacing is complete! CONS: On both units the pen that comes with the unit is the only pen that works to mark. The hole you inset the pen into is designed for just that pen. Replacements cost $3+!! A total ripoff! If anyone out there has found a standard marking pen that works, I'd really appreciate learning about it. It is for this reason that I am rating it 4*'s instead of 5. Otherwise, I LOVE this thing. I use the line to set up off the tee box as well as for putting. Happy marking!

Great product and a must have. It provides excellent feedback in determining if you are putting the ball on line.
