My golf game, unfortunately, finds me using a ball retriever more than I'd like to admit. However, that does give me extensive experience with retrievers. It does the job pretty good I would say. The contruction does look a bit cheap, and keeps me wonder where in my bag I can keep this since the head looks fragile. When it is not extended, all the sections do move freely. SO I am forced to keep this in the cheap looking bag it came with fixing the head with the little rubber band thing from the bag. Overall, I think it's light weight, the operation is better than the Gotcha ones, and ball retireval is easier and simple.

Best ball retriever. I have tried many, but this is the most compact with the best open length. Ball grabber/cup works awesome pulling balls out of tough spots. It has already paid for itself from retrieving balls.

The Tilia Golf Ball Snatcher Catcher is compact and fits well in your bag. The lenght of the retriever is somewhat ok. Looking at the retriever it's easy for Tilia to offer different lengths with the same compact feature. All in all it's a great item to have in your golf bag when you game is not up to par.

I never had a retriever in my bag. Playing with a stranger, I hit my approach onto a stream. I was to far to reach, until my playing partner, pulled the Tilia from his bag, extended from 1 foot to 10 feet and retrived my ball. I had to had a Tilia and it is now in my bag and getting so many balls, I leave them on the edge of the water.
